DALLAS, TX – April 10, 2013 After earning his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from North Texas State University, Bob joined the beverage alcohol industry. He has over 35 successful years in the industry, of which 27 have been with NDC and its affiliates. Bob’s professional career progressed from District Manager to Division Manager in North Texas and New Mexico, respectively. Following these important management positions, Bob was promoted to Executive Vice President, Sales in Deerfield Beach, Fla.

In his current position as NDC New Mexico President, Bob played an instrumental role in leading New Mexico through solid and progressive revenue and profit growth. During his tenure, he oversaw the expansion of the New Mexico warehouse, which doubled its capacity, in the midst of installing a warehouse sortation system.

Over the years, Bob has played a key role as member of the Board of Directors New Mexico Restaurant Association; the Board of Directors New Mexico State University School of Hotel Restaurant Tourism Management and the Board of Directors New Mexico Beverage Alcohol Distributors.

Most importantly, he oversaw the growth of his team from 93 to 215 associates – a direct result of keeping pace with the market and the successful growth for NDC New Mexico. Overall, Bob’s passion for the industry and his team has provided a clear vision of achievement and success for the business.

NDC Owner, Jay Davis, provides this excellent perspective, “Bob has been a terrific asset to the company for many years. We will miss his expertise, his tenaciousness, but most of all we will miss Bob’s loyalty, and trusted friendship to all of us who have known him and worked with him over the years. We wish him much success, and good times in his retirement.”

Equally supportive, NDC Owner, John Carlos stated this about Bob, “It is with mixed emotions for me to see Bob retiring. Bob has not only been a tremendous asset to this company, but he has also been a very well-respected colleague and good friend. Bob is a man with an exceptional work ethic, distinctive skills, and a person who has always exhibited the utmost honesty and integrity. I have great regard and admiration for Bob. He will be sorely missed, but I wish him many years of well-deserved joy and happiness with his family in his retirement. A job well done!”

Upon retirement, Bob is looking forward to spending time with his wife Tammy, his children, Robert and Elizabeth, his daughter-in-law, Kelly, and his granddaughter Olivia. In addition, he will spend his leisure time pursuing his hobbies of hunting, fishing, traveling, and gardening.
