Renato Razon is a dynamic leader with over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, celebrated for guiding leaders through the intricate landscape of people and culture challenges. As the CHRO at RNDC, Renato will channel his wealth of expertise and a proven track record of HR leadership.
Previously, as Senior Vice President of People Solutions at Cox Automotive, he led one of the largest HR teams in North America, transforming the HR Business Partners into strategic professionals who empower leaders to make impactful business and people decisions. Starting with Daimler AG in 1998, he thrived in various HR management roles, consistently fostering a culture of excellence. Renato’s HR journey includes his role as CHRO at Mercedes-Benz USA, where he supervised all HR functions, such as talent acquisition, associate engagement, and diversity and inclusion.
With a passion for continuous development, Renato harnesses HR technologies to create a people-first culture. His dedication to delivering a best-in-class associate experience inspires every team member to feel valued and empowered.
In addition to his professional achievements, Renato is a Board Advisor for Camp Southern Ground who serves veterans transitioning between military and civilian workforce along with running an inclusive camp for children economic challenges, Autism and or learning disabilities.
Renato earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources, specializing in HR Development, from Oakland University. Originally from Michigan, he now lives in Atlanta, GA, with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys attending sporting events, exploring Atlanta’s vibrant food culture, and engaging in environmental volunteer activities. His inclusive and innovative leadership style exemplifies the power of cultivating positive workplace cultures.
