Grand Prairie, Texas, February 1, 2019 — Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) celebrates Black History Month this February with donations to three important organizations that support the history, education, and rights of the Black community.
RNDC supports the National Civil Rights Museum (NRCM) which is steadfast in its mission to share the culture and lessons from the American Civil Rights Movement and explore how this significant era continues to shape equality and freedom globally.
SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity) also was a recipient of an RNDC donation. SEO was founded in 1963 with a mission to provide talented and motivated young people from underserved and underrepresented communities with access to superior education and career opportunities.
RNDC is pleased to provide funding for UNCF (United Negro College Fund), a non-profit organization that helps African American students get to and through college. UNCF has helped to more than double the number of minorities attending college. UNCF is the largest scholarship provider for students of color.
