DALLAS, TX – June 5, 2016 – Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), the nation’s second largest premium wine and spirits distributor, announced today the hiring of H. Alan Rosenberg, Esq. as Vice President, Legal & General Counsel. In his role, Rosenberg will have responsibility for leading, coordinating and executing all RNDC legal matters, initiatives and strategies across all RNDC regions and functions. He will report directly to Tom Cole, RNDC President & Chief Executive Officer.

Rosenberg brings to RNDC an extensive breadth of experience and expertise. He has practiced law for more than 23 years, during which time he has successfully led and directed the creation and development of numerous corporate legal departments at a variety of large multinational and national corporations within a multitude of highly regulated industries.

Most recently, Rosenberg served as the Vice President, Legal & General Counsel, Americas and Global Chief Privacy Officer for Recall Corporation, a global leader in the information management industry. In this role he was responsible for the handling of all of the legal affairs for the Americas’ businesses.

Prior to his tenure with Recall, Rosenberg served as the Vice President, Investigations & Incident Response for LexisNexis, and, before its acquisition by LexisNexis, as ChoicePoint’s Vice President, Privacy, Ethics & Compliance & Assistant General Counsel. In these roles he led policy, compliance, privacy and audit teams for both companies.

Rosenberg also held progressive leadership positions during his career with NDCHealth Corporation, Wolters Kluwer Health and The Grady Health System. He began his career in private practice as an attorney with the law firm of Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers LLC in Atlanta, GA, where he practiced in the area of litigation.

Rosenberg received his undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations, from the University of Texas at Austin in 1989, and his Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law in 1993.

Rosenberg will start in his new position effective July 5, 2016, and will be based in Atlanta.
