DALLAS, TX – May 4, 2015 – Republic National Distributing Company has been awarded the “2014 Supplier Award” for “Outstanding Wine and Beer Supplier” by Whole Foods Market at an executive banquet held at the Stephen F. Austin Intercontinental Hotel on Tuesday, April 21. This marks the first time a distributor has been recognized with this honor, which celebrates win-win partnerships.

Walter Robb, Whole Foods Market CEO, noted that there are over 100,000 vendors working in the Whole Foods network and the leadership team agreed to choose the 19 winners leading their respective categories for 2014.
Chris David, RNDC National Account Sales Manager, and Ed Collins, RNDC Senior Category Manager were on hand to receive the award.
Doug Bell, Global Wine and Beer Buyer, and Devon Broglie, Assistant Global Wine and Beer Buyer, spoke about the unique relationship between the companies and how RNDC truly understands Whole Foods Market’s vision and market strategy. They recognized that RNDC is a large company and that this award is also representative of all of their associates involved.
