Grand Prairie, Texas, Sept. 8, 2022 – Republic National Distributing Company, the national distributor and broker of premium wine and spirits, today announced the appointment of Marissa Garrett to SVP, Sales Operations. She is responsible for the strategy and execution of initiatives designed to drive increased sales effectiveness and efficiency for RNDC. She reports to Jenn Engel, Chief Commercial Sales Officer.

“Marissa’s experience will be a huge asset to our team,” Engel said. “Her ability to troubleshoot systems and capabilities, coupled with her sales and supplier management experience, make her the right person for this role.”

Garrett started in 2011 as a On Premise Sales Representative. She has held multiple roles within RNDC as a District Sales Manager, Marketing/Finance Manager, Portfolio Manager of Beam Suntory, Director of Portfolio Management and most recently as the ERP Modernization Business Lead – Commercial where she led the organization through multiple commercial initiatives. She is a part of the National Women’s Leadership Forum and currently sits on leadership team of the Athena & Parents+ Associate Resource Groups (ARGs).

Garrett is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration. Her industry certifications include WSET II Wine & Spirits, and WSET III Spirits.

Garrett begins her new role effective immediately and remains based in Denver, Colorado.
