DALLAS, TEXAS – October 9, 2018 – Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) announced today that the company will be a $75,000 sponsor for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Movement, expanding the relationship between the two companies. The sponsorship exemplifies RNDC’s spirit of responsibility to its associates and community.

Funds from the $75,000 sponsorship will support several AHA programs:

Recess Reboot: This program focuses on preventing childhood obesity through investment in school physical education programs, healthy school eating programs, and legislation to protect PE time in schools. A portion of RNDC’s sponsorship will fund recess equipment for five schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Go Red for Women Movement: This program increases awareness of cardiovascular disease – the leading cause of death in women – and provides women tips to live healthier lives. RNDC will sponsor the Dallas Go Red for Women Luncheon and will participate in National Wear Red Day in February.

Volunteer Opportunities: RNDC Associates can show their support of the AHA through programs like the North Texas Heart Walks, the Vestido Rojo event that provides free health screenings and health risk information, and the Little Hats, Big Hearts™ program that raises awareness of congenital heart defects through the donation of red, knitted hats for newborns during the month of February.

RNDC is proud to work with the American Heart Association, an organization paving the way against heart disease and stroke.
