Since 1993 the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) has funded some of the world’s most promising research to improve the prevention, detection and treatment for prostate cancer. In the past, both RNDC and Young’s Market Company financially supported PCF during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month each September. I’m excited to announce we will combine our efforts for the 2020 DoBlue campaign in hopes of raising $200,000 to fund the research of a Young Investigator with PCF.
Approximately one in nine men is diagnosed with prostate cancer each year in the United States. My family lost a close relative to the disease. We believe earlier detection may have prevented his death. I’m confident that the money we raise for PCF will fund vital research that will help save lives.
