Republic National Distributing Company’s digital platform, eRNDC, experienced record growth in 2022 by prioritizing in-app collaboration across the three-tier distribution system
Grand Prairie, Texas, Feb. 01, 2023 – Republic National Distributing Company, a top beverage alcohol distributor in the nation, welcomes the new year with record growth of its collaborative e-commerce platform, eRNDC. In 2022, eRNDC surpassed several key milestones – including record sales performance, market expansion and new leadership and team support.
Record Sales Performance
eRNDC has reported year-over-year success since its launch in 2019. In 2022, eRNDC generated 350,000 orders in the digital platform and gained over 69% customer growth, attracting customers through in-app collaboration with RNDC sales associates and a customized user experience.
“The amazing growth eRNDC has shown in the past four years proves that the beverage alcohol industry is craving an enhanced digital experience,” said RNDC President and Chief Executive Officer Nick Mehall. “In 2023, we’ll further personalize the sales experience and unite the three-tier system across our growing digital ecosystem. Continuing its growth across the Western U.S., eRNDC added digital access in Oregon and Washington, along with a piloted program for California. eRNDC now serves on- and off-premise customers with 24/7 sales support in 17 states. Users receive personalized insights and product recommendations based on their locations, local licensing requirements, category interests, regional product availability and more.
New Leadership & Team Growth
Digital transformation expert Emily Xu joined RNDC in October as senior vice president of eCommerce. Xu brings fresh perspective to the beverage alcohol industry with experience shifting retail customers from brick-and-mortar shopping to a multi-channel sales model. Most recently, she served as chief marketing officer for Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams and vice president of strategy for Crate & Barrel.
At RNDC, Xu leads a newly built team focused on connecting each member of the three-tier system – customers, suppliers and sales – to collaborate within the eRNDC platform.

In 2023, RNDC will continue investing in enhancing the user experience across the eRNDC platform. New app features will make it easier and faster to order and reorder products, discover new brands and efficiently manage inventory. RNDC also will continue to encourage platform adoption and strategically expand eRNDC into new markets, making digital access available to as many customers, suppliers and sales representatives as possible.
eRNDC’s collaboration-focused approach to e-commerce has led to the creation of an in-app ecosystem between RNDC sales associates, suppliers and customers. As this unique platform continues to expand, it will further enable RNDC to leverage strategic partnerships in new markets.
