June is Pride Month and we’re getting ready to raise our rainbow flags in support of the LGBTQ+ community. With parades, festivals, and concerts going on across the globe, there are many ways for you to get involved — as well as learn important social history along the way. As an embedded holiday during Pride Month, Pride Day is celebrated on June 28. This day marks a historical moment when the first Pride march was held in New York City in 1970.
