DALLAS, TX – November 2, 2012 – Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) today announced a $50,000 contribution from Republic National Distributing Company Foundation to the American Red Cross to assist with relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. The contribution will help to fund vital human services and donations of critical supplies for hard-hit communities in the affected regions.
“We want to respond immediately and effectively to help the many families coping with severe hardship from this historic natural disaster,” said Tom Cole, President, Republic National Distributing Company. “This is a natural extension of our long-standing support of charitable activities in local communities where we operate, and I want to commend our State Presidents and Associates already volunteering with relief projects.”
