Republic National Distributing Company Breaks Ground on $50 Million New Distribution Center and Sales Office

Project includes addition of over 30 new jobs 

Louisville, Ky., Oct. 22, 2021 – Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), the national distributor and broker of premium wine and spirits, as well as CBD, will break ground on a 326,905 square-foot building in Louisville on October 22.

The $50 million new building will include 288,880 sq. ft of warehouse space and 38,025 sq ft. of office space, offering an upgraded conveyor system and a dedicated line to feed a palletizing machine.  The building will include the latest in environmentally friendly designs including highly efficient LED lighting.

“RNDC markets and distributes over 9,000 unique wine and spirits products to bars, restaurants, hotels and liquor package stores in every corner of the commonwealth,” said Don Wolz, Executive Vice President, Kentucky. “The company is also a significant contributor to Kentucky’s thriving bourbon industry, representing established brands including Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Michter’s, Old Forester, and Woodford Reserve, in addition to new Kentucky craft brands like Bardstown Bourbon, Castle & Key, New Riff, and Peerless. The purchase of this land and investment in the new building demonstrates our ongoing commitment to growing our business in Kentucky.”

RNDC employs over 300 associates and will add more than 30 new positions to support a new sales division and operations support.
